Chicken Curry

1kg Chicken skinned and cut into 8

3tbsp oil

3 onions sliced

3 med tomatoes sliced

1 inch Cinnamon stick

2 black caradmom pods

4 black pepercorns

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp garlic and ginger paste

1 tsp garam masala

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp yogurt

4 tbsp lemon juice

2tbsp chopped coriander

2 fresh green chillies chopped



Heat oil and fry onions untill golden brown, add the tomatoes stir well.

Add cinnamon,cardamoms,peppercorns,cumin,garlic and ginger paste,garam masala,chilli powder and salt. lower heat and fry for 2 mins.


Add chicken and fry for 7 mins. Take off heat and add the yogurt, mix well.

on low heat cover and cook for 20 mins. Add Lemon juice ,chopped chilles and coriander.
